Rancho Mariposa LLC is a family-owned Angus Beef and Yak ranch located in the mountain town of Hartsel, Colorado. What began as a small family operation has grown into a working ranch built on lasting values, hard work, honesty, and respect for the land.

Our mission is simple, raise healthy animals, care for our environment, and provide our community with meat they can trust. Every animal we raise is treated with care, every pasture is managed responsibly, and every decision we make is guided by the long-term health of our ranch and our region.

We raise premium Angus beef and yak, known for rich flavor, tenderness, and nutrition. Our animals thrive on open pastures, clean water, and nutrient-rich hay that we grow ourselves. This gives us complete control over their health, diet, and overall quality.
Sustainability is not a buzzword here, it’s our way of life. We manage our land carefully, rotate our grazing areas, and produce our own feed to protect both the soil and the surrounding ecosystem.
